A four-year scholarship is provided for one potential Australian candidate to do the PhD study on the project entitled “Enabling high performance piezoelectric materials for undersea applications”. The candidate will have an opportunity to work closely with manufacturing industry and end users. The students with a background in physics, Solid-state/materials chemistry as well as Materials Science and engineering are all welcome. The project can start immediately. Research Fellow In Quantum Photonics

This is an exciting opportunity for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow/Research Fellow to contribute to setting up the integrated photonics research program within Dr Romero’s group, Qudits@UQ. The project aims to develop components for photonic information processing on-chip. This will involve setting up a new experimental capability for designing, fabricating, characterising, and testing the performance of on-chip photonic devices.
