Senior Analyst Fleet Planning

Sun Country Airlines is adding aircraft to support our growth. Our capital allocation decisions are driven by solid analytics and we are looking for a high energy analyst to support our fleet planning efforts. The Senior Analyst, Fleet Planning is responsible for the financial analysis of fleet related strategic projects and transactions. This position will be expected to work cross functionally with the operations, maintenance, marketing, financial planning and legal groups to build the Sun Country fleet plan. Specific job responsibilities include:
Lead the financial modeling and analysis of fleet related transactions, such as potential aircraft or engine acquisition opportunities as well as lease extensions
Develop materials and present recommendations to executive leadership
Support negotiations and documentation of aircraft leases, lease extensions, aircraft and engine orders and sales
Maintain relationships with aircraft sellers, lessors and aircraft manufacturers
Evaluate aircraft ownership and operating costs models

Business Development & Product Management Manager

LeaseWorks is seeking a motivated individual to take our aviation financing software to the next level. The successful candidate would be an aviation geek at heart with a strong passion for technology and finance. The role will involve helping LeaseWorks realize its vision of being an end to end provider of solutions for airlines and financiers to automate processes around fleet acquisition, financing, and disposal. This will also include working closely with lessor and airline customers and prospects to understand their needs, anticipate gaps and lead product management efforts to help fulfill them. The individual will also work closely with our software engineering and quality assurance teams to drive new features and bring new products to market.
Preferred experience and skills required for this role:
• Five + years experience with a lessor or an airline; including, commercial, fleet
management or finance role preferred.
• Strong understanding of how airlines and lessors negotiate financing contracts.
• Experience with aircraft financing; including operating leases, JOLCO, finance
leases, and other financing structures.
• Proficient knowledge of financing contracts and terms; including amortization
schedules, OL terms around rent, MR rates, PBH, extension options.
• Understanding the needs of an airline to be able to build new modules.
• Knowledge of how to return comp terms impact end of lease adjustments;
including, half-life, full life, picture in/picture out.
• Firm grasp of financial concepts, including NPV and IRR.
• Keen interest and curiosity in the use of technology to solve business problems.
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills and independent motivation

This person will take charge of the marketing efforts of the brand in collaboration with our product managers and sales teams and is responsible for the planning, curation, and distribution of content to articulate the success we are experiencing in the market.
