Hiring: Speech/Language Pathologist or CFY

CISD is seeking an elementary CCC or CF Speech/Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. Cleveland, TX is approximately 30-40 minutes north of Houston and spans multiple counties. We serve a suburban and rural community of approximately 12,000 students, many of whom are emergent bilinguals.

Estimated caseload depends on experience, role, and workload distribution. CFY would have a caseload of approximately 45 students. CCC would manage a caseload of approximately 70 with SLP-A support at one campus.

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of student’s communication skills for students at their assigned campus.

Minimal case management— diagnostician and SPED case manager support for IEP and FIE preparation. (Paperwork reduction for SLPs).

Strong support from centralized SPED team, low-drama, family feel.

Salary starts at approximately 65k for 0 years of experience. 191 working days with 7 weeks of breaks during the year. $2k sign-on bonus if hired before 9/1/23. Optional extra-duty pay opportunities.
