The Department of Radiology at Duke Health is seeking an applicant for a faculty position at the Medical Instructor, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level. This is an outstanding opportunity to develop an academic career in an exemplary Neuroradiology Division within an excellent Department and Institution.

The Department actively seeks to identify and promote faculty who are women or underrepresented minorities.

The Neuroradiology Division, with 15 faculty and eight fellows, operates a high volume, high profile, and growing clinical practice with primary responsibilities for all neuro imaging including CT, MR, and intervention. Facilities are excellent including state-of-the-art CT, MR (1.5 T and 3.0 T), DECT, and CT-fluoroscopy. The Division hosts a strong Spine Interventional Service, which serves a growing patient population with referrals nationwide.

The Division is integral to Neurosurgery, Neurology, Pediatrics, Otolaryngology, Radiation Oncology, and Psychiatry with associated multi-disciplinary conferences and collaboration.

The Department is an ideal place to develop an academic career, with substantial research infrastructure, which includes biostatical and research administration support, a clinical research MR scanner, small animal imaging technology, and a close collaboration with Departmental PhD scientists and researchers across Duke.

The successful candidate will have an MD or MD/PhD degree(s) or equivalent, and will contribute their clinical expertise at the Stanford Healthcare inpatient and outpatient sites. Responsibilities will include clinical service, teaching, and, if applicable, scholarly activity. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with and teach medical students, residents, and fellows and lead clinical interdisciplinary conferences. The candidate will be expected to be able to interpret the spectrum of neuroradiological CT and MRI studies (brain, spine, head & neck) and have or develop fluency with advanced imaging techniques (e.g., perfusion and functional imaging).

Baylor Scott & White Health in the greater Austin, TX region is seeking a BE/BC neuroradiologist to join a well-established team to provide further expansion and depth in imaging services. The candidate would join a growing division of diagnostic and interventional radiologists, currently supporting 6 hospitals and multiple outpatient imaging facilities in the Austin metro area. Several flexible shift opportunities are available, including evening swing shifts. A hybrid mix of on-site and off-site workplace options are available, but some on-site presence would still be required. Additional time off is granted for radiologists working evening and weekend shifts.

The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the University of California, San Francisco is seeking several Neuroradiologists for faculty positions. The selected candidates will be appointed at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Clinical X, in-Residence, or HS Clinical series depending on qualifications and interests.

The selected candidate should demonstrate a commitment to building a strong academic career and to excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research. The candidate will supervise trainees and provide outstanding teaching to medical students, residents, and fellows at a top radiology and neuroradiology-training program in the country. To accomplish this, the department seeks candidates who have clinical expertise in all areas of neuroradiology. The selected candidate will provide clinical services primarily at the UCSF Moffitt/Long Hospital, but may also include clinical work at other UCSF Health and UCSF affiliated sites.

The position requires a MD degree (or equivalent), ability (or eligible) to practice medicine in California, completion of ACGME-accredited fellowship training in neuroradiology (completed by appointment start date), and expertise in neuroradiology. Applicants are expected to be board certified (or eligible) in Radiology. Applicant materials must list current and/or pending qualifications upon submission. The selected candidate(s) must meet all of the qualifications by the time of the faculty appointment start date. Faculty are also expected to obtain a Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Neuroradiology after the start of their faculty appointment, when eligible.
