American School of Bombay MSHS Band and Choir (+IB) Teachers Core Needs: Band, MS and HS Currently: G6 Beginning Band, G7 Concert Band, G8-10 Wind Ensemble
Additional Possible Needs - Grade... 8 General Music Elective: focus may center around music creating, music for service, etc. - Co-curricular needs such as Music Tech, MS Jazz Band, HS Jazz Band, community music groups, support with theatre (musical productions), anything else musical that comes up
Notes -We have between 15 and 35 students per ensemble -When students get to IB, they drop ensemble (we have tried to get them back into the weekly ensemble class with no luck due to COVID, we wanted to have them be in the class and request flexes when big assignments/ due dates are close) - 75 minutes per class, meet every other day - Large ensemble work, practice rooms for small group work - 2-4 performances per year, depending on calendar and needs - Festivals with AMIS, ASIAC (MS Sports Conference) and SAISA (HS Sports Conference) - Doing informal lunchtime cafe performances as well -All teachers also have an advisory that meets every day

Rabat American School Beginning band in grade 6, then combined 7/8 bands, and currently general music/songwriting in 9/10, but the goal is that it becomes all band.
