This is a management position responsible... for planning and directing the activities of the Streets, Utilities (water, sanitary, and storm), and Shop divisions of the Public Works Department. The work involves a variety of management functions including management of supervisory and front-line employees, long and short range planning for workforce and equipment, and preparing and maintaining division budgets. This position places great emphasis on employee supervision and maintaining effective employee relations.
