Public Works Highway Crew Member (Full Time)
Village of Summit The Village of Summit is seeking applications for a full-time Public works position. This position includes maintenance and repairs to public properties and other projects as assigned. Must be able to deal courteously with the public, work outdoors in varying weather conditions and available to work overtime as required. These tasks will include assisting with maintenance and repairs of the parks, streets, and public properties of the village. This includes but not limited to snowplowing, salting streets, mowing and sign repair, installing and maintaining water meters, flushing hydrants as well as other needed tasks under supervision and direction of the Director. This position requires on call availability during inclement weather or other emergency situations.
Residency required within 30-minute travel time.
High School diploma or GED required.
Basic computer and mechanical experience desired.
Current driver’s license with a good driving record; CDL class B/C with air brake endorsement is required, snowplowing experience; ability to operate front-end loader and other equipment as well as multiple hand tools and experience in public works/park maintenance preferred.
Experience in sewer system operations, along with knowledge of lift stations, SCADA monitoring, confined space entry is preferred but not required.
Candidates are subject to a background investigation, physical exam, and drug screening including pre- employment screening.
Wage Range: $23 - $25 per hour (DOQ) with an attractive benefit package.

Water Filtration Operator
City of Oshkosh Under the direction of a certified operator, this position is responsible for care and efficient operation of the City Water Filtration Plant through performance of a variety of skilled and technical work in operating, maintaining, repairing and recording Filtration Plant operations on assigned rotating shifts. Work includes covering a large working area, which contains several operating units of the Water Filtration Plant during assigned rotating shifts. Employees normally work independently on the basis of general and specific instruction for the day. Work is reviewed by a supervisor who checks records and charts and makes daily inspections through the plant. Employees work under the general supervision of the Water Filtration Plant Operations Supervisor.
Assistant City Engineer
City of River Falls Performs professional engineering and administrative work in connection with the planning, budgeting, design, construction management, compliance and maintenance of all City roads and building infrastructure. Manages budgets in the engineering division. Reviews construction plans for development review, utilities, and maintenance. The position serves multiple city departments and provides technical assistance and advice on complex multi-party plans and projects in the City.
Planning & Engineering Technician
City of River Falls This position supports the Community Development Department through a variety of work in engineering, permitting, code compliance, GIS, and utility inspections. The position is the primary lead for code compliance and enforcement and will assist with zoning permits, drone operation, providing analysis and inspections for sanitary sewer systems, water systems, and GIS mapping projects, administrative work, and customer assistance. Work involves field and office tasks for development and construction related projects.
