Lecturer/Assistant Professor - Emergency and Trauma Radiologist
Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre Sunnybrook HSC has over 1,250 beds; 677 dedicated to acute care (128 intensive care). SHSC includes Canada’s first and largest trauma program and a dynamic and busy ED. The Emergency and Trauma Radiology Division (ETRD, est. 2016) serves both for the ED population and emergencies of patients admitted to internationally acclaimed specialty programs, including the Tory Trauma Program, Odette Cancer Program, the Schulich Heart Program and the Hurvitz Brain Sciences Program. Therefore, emergency radiologists encounter a broad spectrum of acute conditions: acute (poly-) trauma, neurologic emergencies such as stroke, cardiovascular emergencies, thoracic as well as abdominal emergencies and acute complications in oncology patients.
The radiology practice group has 45 subspecialty radiologists. The successful candidate will be an ETRD team member and provides interpretation of acute care imaging, including overnight on call coverage. The successful candidate will be expected to play a contributing role in all areas of subspecialty emergency and trauma imaging. The ETRD team members also rotate through the other divisions during regular work hours, reporting a mix of acute care and outpatient imaging studies.
The successful candidate will be an integral part of the teaching faculty to our Undergraduate Medical Education, Continuing Medical Education, Residency and Fellowship Programs as a Clinician-Teacher.
Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience. Compensation is based on a fee-for-service model. The estimated income range will be $300,000 - $500,000 per annum for a full-time equivalent with opportunity for increased salary commensurate with experience and academic credentials.

$400/hour to $500/hour via Teleradiology guaranteed. No gimmicky pay per click RVU schemes. Reasonable workload at community hospitals. No level 1 trauma. No CT-PET. No cancer follow ups.
ChicagoTeleRad Annual compensation via Teleradiology with us can range between $500k and $700k per year without any gimmicky pay per click RVU bean counting.
Most of the money in Teleradiology is in the swing shift from 5pm-2am cst or 11pm-7am cst. You can work 7 days ON and 14 days off with 34 weeks vacation. OR do the traditional 7 days on and 7 days off. For those of you who are gunners we have nearly unlimited hourly paid shifts available throughout the year.
If you can get your mind around doing EITHER of those shifts of 5pm-2am or 11pm-7am then a whole world of opportunity opens up to you. If you do swing shift you do NOT have to do graveyard shift and vice versa.
If you only want daytime Teleradiology then you are in for a rough ride and this is not for you. If you are pidgeon holed into only neuro, peds or mammo then this is not for you.
If you can do basic ER and inpatient cases to the level of a 4th year resident then we have tremendous opportunities for you.

UMass Memorial Health, the health and wellness partner of the people of Central Massachusetts, the largest health care system in Central Massachusetts and the clinical partner of UMass Chan Medical School is seeking an ABR certified/eligible Radiologist to join an existing group of fifteen Emergency Radiologists.
The UMass Radiology Department has state-of-the art imaging equipment, AGFA PACS system, EPIC EMR, Tera-Recon image processing software, Powerscribe 360 and is running several AI algorithms. The department is comprised of approximately 80 fellowship trained Radiologist organized into specialized divisions, trains 20 residents (5 per year) and 9 fellows.
Flexible work schedules include the option for one of the following: Overnight shift: 11pm to 7am; 91 shifts/year; Overlap coverage until 1:00 am; Physician-controlled scheduling Various shifts between 7am and 1am, 65% of which can be performed from home (35% performed onsite at the University Campus ED) with a schedule of one week on and one week off; 13 weekends per year
When on site, ED Radiologists work at the University campus with one resident and/or one Emergency Radiology fellow, and remotely cover the Memorial Campus, as well as several community hospitals from within our network.
