Our institution fe... atures a medical school with a fully accredited Pediatric residency program and is currently home to approximately 30 pediatric residents.
Responsibilities include providing pediatric ambulatory care to children and adolescents in addition to teaching and supervision of residents and medical students and participation in quality / performance improvement initiatives. This position requires clinic schedule flexibility to accommodate patient needs. We are looking for candidates who are board certified in Pediatrics, possess outstanding clinical skills, have experience in medical education and demonstrated scholarship with an ongoing commitment to research (e.g. clinical research, health services / outcomes research, community based participatory research or implementation science) and/or leadership roles in the ambulatory setting. The successful candidate will receive an academic appointment at The University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences. The academic rank will be commensurate with experience.

Nationwide Children's Hospital is currently seeking a Pediatric Pulmonology physician to join the Pulmonary Department located at Nationwide Children's Hospital -Toledo.
The successful candidate will join the division of Pulmonary Medicine which includes a regional group of 6 physicians, registered nurses, respiratory therapists, and social work.
Care is provided for respiratory diseases, including, asthma, cystic fibrosis, sleep disorder breathing, Sickle cell associated lung diseases, among others. The physician team provides care at both Nationwide Children's Hospital Toledo and ProMedica Russell J. Ebeid Children's Hospital.
This is a full-time employed position offering a competitive salary and benefits package. Minimum qualifications for the position include M.D. or D.O. with board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics and Pediatric Pulmonary.

The TRANSCENDENT Concussion Research Program is an initiative funded by the Ontario... Brain Institute aimed at improving concussion diagnosis and care. Through the TRANSCENDENT Research Program we aim to: - Foster collaborations between researchers and healthcare professionals at leading Universities and health centres to advance concussion research and share new discoveries with those who need it most (including children and adults who have experienced concussions). - Develop evidence-based recommendations and interventions that support the diagnosis, treatment and management of concussions. These recommendations will be shared with healthcare professionals in a timely manner to ensure that people living with concussions are receiving the most up-to-date care. - Engage key concussion partners (for example, patients, caregivers, teachers or sport coaches) to identify opportunities for future research, policies and education. - Educate the public about concussions in new and meaningful ways.
