RANZCOG Consumer Network Working Group
RANZCOG
Theres a position available (paid) for a First Nations person on this committee that I'm on at the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists. I've linked the EOI form for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander vacancy below, but I believe they're also looking for Māori participation - feel free to email me if you're Māori and interested, and I can get you the info :)

Note: discussions about gendered language are a work in progress at the College.

"CNWG is comprised of a diverse group of medical practitioners and members of the community across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand, who act as a source of information for the College, providing an independent patient and public perspective on women’s health.

The First Nations consumer representative will provide invaluable insights to the CNWG as to how RANZCOG could support equitable access and better health outcomes for First Nations women and babies across Australia. RANZCOG is also keen to better understand the cultural perspectives, so that our Doctors can be trained and equipped with providing culturally appropriate, individually tailored care during the pregnancy, birth and beyond."
