Research Fellow in Quantum Optics
Griffith University
We are looking for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join the Centre for Quantum Dynamics. The primary focus of this role is to contribute to an externally funded, experimental research program in the ARC’s Centre for Quantum Computation and Communication Technology, concentrating on photonic quantum technologies and involving integrated and free-space optics. In this role, it is essential to contribute to a vibrant, collaborative academic environment: The role involves close collaboration with members of Griffith University’s Quantum Optics and Information Laboratory, the Centre for Quantum Dynamics, as well as scientists across Australia and overseas. The role also includes higher-degree-research supervision. The successful applicant will have access to a well-equipped, state-of-the-art quantum optics laboratory and will have the opportunity to travel and further develop their academic profile. While this is primarily an experimental role, opportunities would exist to undertake some theory research as well, depending on the applicant’s background and interest.

This is a full-time, fixed term (2 years) position based at the Griffith University Nathan campus (with the possibility of an extension).  Griffith is a multi-campus university and therefore it is understood that this position will work across campuses as required.
