(includes parent groups) to engage kids and to identify needs of children in the Bay Area
community.

12. Model a lifestyle which is seeking to grow as a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ.
13. Participate in other ministry assignments as mutually agreed.
Experience: Average weekly worship attendance above 350 and 5 years ministry experience is preferred.

7. Plan and implement a once a year youth / family servant event in another locale.
8. Identify, recruit and train lay adult volunteers to assist with children and youth programs.
9. Oversee an effective weekly spiritual growth experience separately for Junior and Senior High students, in addition to High School Sunday School and leading of confirmation class and confirmation events.

Let It Shine is a preschool for children with all abilities. We are Christian based and primarily serve children ages 3-6 with speech delay, sensory processing disorder, and autism with a low teacher to student ratios.
Let It Shine blends therapeutic techniques within the preschool environment. The curriculum is play based and developmentally appropriate, meeting each child where he or she is at. The lead teacher will work with a team of providers (including a curriculum coordinator, an occupational therapist, and teaching assistants) to plan and lead the class in circle time, centers, outside play, etc.
The position is salaried with payment every other week. In addition to PTO, Let It Shine follows a school calendar, implementing a Thanksgiving break, Christmas break, spring break, and other holidays.
Two years of prior experience working with children is preferred. He or she must be willing to learn, be responsible, and be willing to adapt based on the situation. Training in classroom management and early childhood best practices will be provided.
