DEVELOPMENT AND MEMBERSHIP DIRECTOR
Jewish Museum Milwaukee
The Development and Membership Director sets the strategy, plans, and implements membership, corporate, tribute, stewardship, and annual giving programs. As a member of the collaborative JMM team, the Development and Membership Director brings knowledge of their field to the table when analyzing programming and marketing opportunities.

Essential Functions
• Leads the Museum's membership development and stewardship efforts. Develops annual membership campaigns for new, returning, and lapsed members.
• With the Executive Director, designs, coordinates, and stewards the annual giving campaign at year-end, including Giving Tuesday.
• Oversees and stewards the Museum tribute and memorial program, including an annual tribute campaign.
• Works with the Executive Director and Development Committee to develop, implement and steward a corporate business strategy that supports the Museum through financial support, volunteer opportunities, in-kind contributions, and other strategic partnerships.
• Co-manage the Customer Service Membership Coordinator and oversee development interns.
• Staff virtual programs, in-house public programs and events, and Sunday Museum hours on a rotational basis.

The Senior Director of Exhibits (SDE) will possess the creativity, skills, and collaborative experience needed to create multimedia exhibits that educate and entertain visitors.
The individual must have a passion for creating exhibits for a world-class museum that is unrivaled in content and recognized for outstanding guest experiences.

REQUIREMENTS: Seven years of
professional experience in a museum setting. Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree in a relevant field is strongly preferred. A strong working familiarity with
exhibit-making materials and lighting systems.
SALARY: The annual salary range is
$100,000 - $115,000 plus generous benefits.

History Nebraska is seeking a collaborative and creative Exhibits Manager to design relevant and engaging visitor experiences across over 10,000 square feet of gallery space at the Nebraska History Museum as well as seven historic sites and museums managed by History Nebraska, and online. To start, the manager will lead two major initiatives: one developing a flagship exhibit on Nebraska history and another exploring the local history of childhood play. This position will plan, research, coordinate, develop, and design internal, traveling, and digital exhibitions focused on audience needs and agency priorities.

Museum Registrar & Collections Manager

Under general guidelines as determined by the Deputy Director and Chief Curator, the Museum Registrar is accountable for all aspects of the care, preservation, and cataloguing of over 16,000 objects in the permanent collection, the study collection, the artist book collection, and the Midwest Photographers Project. The position manages the development and maintenance of the collection management system and maintains the collections’ digital presence. The Registrar oversees logistics and documentation for incoming donations and acquisition of artwork, outgoing loans of permanent collection objects, and the Midwest Photographers Project.

The Museum Registrar has knowledge of photographic art and adheres to the standards and code of ethics prescribed by the American Association of Museums and best practices for caring for an art collection. Broad knowledge of digital technologies, metadata standards, and collections cataloguing, including digital asset management, is required.
