Summary: A position within Educare Springfield, working with families of enrolled children birth to 5 years old. Educare empowers and strengthens parents’ capacity to fully realize their role as strong nurtures, educators, and leaders in their families, schools, and communities, in order to support their children’s success in school and in life.

Successful Candidate Must:

Possess Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field, LSWA licensed and Human Services experience preferred; OR
Associates degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field and 1-year Human Services experience required.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
Experience, working knowledge and sensitivity to child care issues of low income, and at-risk children and families.
Strong written and verbal skills required.
Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
Starting Pay: $17.69 with Associates Degree; $19.

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required with a minimum of one year administrative/customer service experience required OR
Associate degree with administrative/customer service experience preferred.
Qualities:

Strong computer and communications skills, both verbal and written required.
Sensitivity to confidential matters required.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
Starting Pay: $14.39 High School Diploma/GED; $14.81 Associates Degree

Schedule: 20 hours per week/52 weeks per year
