Senior Projects Management Specialist

The Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority, APTA’s 2020 North American Transit Agency of the Year, seeks a Senior Projects Management Specialist to lead various capital project... s, including the construction of new operations and maintenance facilities, and other construction projects such as stops, shelters and amenities for the Rapid routes and shared autonomous vehicle program. This position will also assist with planning and procurement activities related to these projects.

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to stay current and follow US DOT and FTA procurement rules and regulations, in addition to having the skill to understand and manage transit construction projects, including the ability to effectively monitor schedule, cost, and implementation of a wide variety of projects. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to communicate effectively and work well under the pressure of meeting multiple and oftentimes competing deadlines.

This position reports directly to the Executive Director and has a current salary range of $6,990 to $9,786, with an excellent benefit package.
