Located in the Newborn Care Center, our Outpatient Lactation Team supports the transition from hospital to home during infants' initial Pediatric visits and continues to provide lactation support as needed. In collaboration with other Health Care Providers, the Outpatient Lactation Consultant provides lactation education/support/promotion prenatally through postpartum. The IBCLC provides in-person and telehealth visits, involving assessment, evaluation and lactation planning.

Our office is in West Sacramento, but this position can be fully or partially remote, with full-time residence in California required. This position includes some in and out-of-state travel.
