Levaero Aviation The Base Engineer directly performs AME/ACA maintenance functions and is responsible for all aircraft maintenance activities at the Collingwood base, including the schedul... ing of maintenance visits and the scheduling and management of maintenance staff. The Base Engineer will also be instrumental in the scheduling and oversight of aircraft maintenance that is performed at contracted service providers. The Base Engineer will be well organized and proficient in managing multiple projects, and his/her own time. Periodic travel will be required, primarily within the southern Ontario area.
Applicants must have, as a minimum, a valid Transport Canada M1 category AME license (5-years min.) with previous supervisory experience. Preference will be given to those applicants with previous Pilatus PC-12 and PC-24, and Cessna Citation Series aircraft experience. A valid Transport Canada M2 category AME license is not essential but would be an asset.
