MEMStim, LLC What You Will Do Our Lead Engineer is responsible for key aspects of the design, fabrication, reliability testing, and assembly of critical components of MEMStim technologies. W.L. Gore and Associates We are looking for a Corrosion/Metallurgical Engineer to join our Metals Platform in Flagstaff, AZ. In this role, you will have two primary responsibilities: 1) to evaluate the corrosion behavior of various materials, components, processes and implantable medical devices to ensure long term durability; and 2) to provide metallurgy support to New Product Development (NPD) and Technology teams in the development and implementation of materials and processes for medical device applications. Edwards Lifesciences The summer intern will be involved in developing state of the art computer simulation models using various tools and software. In this position, the intern will work on developing methods/programs to generate virtual cardiovascular hemodynamic patient models based on a low-dimensional blood flow model using machine learning or other predicative algorithms. Experience with advanced level programming in Python is desired. The intern will collaborate with engineers and other interns on other various projects. They should be able to work independently as well as collaboratively as a part of a multifunctional team. Good analytical skills as well as sound solid mechanics background will be necessary. Principal Engineer, R&D - Transcatheter Heart Valve
