ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, STRATEGIC PROJECTS & PARTNERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
York University School of Continuing Studies Reporting to the Director, Continuing Professional Education, the Associate Director (AD) leads partnership development, business development, and projects of strategic importance to the SCS. The AD is responsible for overall strategy and planning of Business to Business (B2B) sales, including the development of a contract training business line and development of new business opportunities in the GTA and beyond and the successful planning and execution of exceptional learning experiences for private, public and not-for-profit clients and partners. Partnerships with other organizations, including other universities and the planning and execution of special projects round out this portfolio.
DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST
York University School of Continuing Studies Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Digital Marketing Specialist supports the work of the School's marketing team in the formulation, execution, optimization and evaluation of digital marketing strategies and initiatives. This position plays an important role in the planning, creation and management of all digital assets to promote new and existing programs, increase conversion rates, and promote the School's brand. The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day management and promotion of the School's online presence and engaging the brand with prospective students and other key stakeholders via the digital space.
York University School of Continuing Studies Reporting to the Director, Continuing Professional Education, Program Managers provide leadership in the creation, development, management, and ongoing refinement of new and existing programs in online, blended and in-class formats. Key to the success of each Program Manager is producing and maintaining high margin programs with high enrolments. Achievement of financial and enrolment targets is key to job performance and to the successful performance of the School. Program Managers have dynamic and varied portfolios consisting primarily of certificate programs, but also including university preparation, part-time undergraduate degree pathways, with the possibility of professional graduate programs in the future. They develop relationships on behalf of the School with external bodies, professional associations, and industry representatives, establishand manage advisory councils to ensure programming addresses top employer needs, provide direction in the development of program curriculum to subject matter experts, instructional developers, and other vendors, hire and manage instructors, work with marketing staff and market the programs, ensure quality control, provide program-specific leadership to cross-functional team members, and develop and manage program budgets and enrolment forecasts.
York University School of Continuing Studies Accountable to the Executive Director, the Instructional Designer administers pedagogical and instructional support and services to all instructors, students, and staff wishing to effectively integrate instructional design into their teaching, learning, and administrative milieu. The Instructional Designer provides subject matter expertise in planning and direction of effective, learner-centred online and blended courses and participates in design, development, delivery and assessments of course material. Within SCS, this position supports both the Continuing Professional Education (CPE) area as well as the York University English Language Institute (YUELI).
