The Isla Vista Food Cooperative is hiring for a full-time General Manager. We are a member-owned consumer cooperative serving the diverse local college community and the greater Santa Barbara area. We are located next to the University of California, Santa Barbara, nestled between the local mountains and beaches. The IV Food Co-op does $3.75 million in annual sales, with 30+ employees and 1,500+ Owners.

We are looking for a skilled, experienced, and energetic General Manager to lead the co-op into our next phase.

The ideal candidate will have experience:
• Working cooperatively with elected Boards
• Managing in the grocery/retail industry
• In outstanding communication/leadership skills and personnel management
• Creating and implementing a budget
• Visioning for the ongoing growth of an organization
• Engaging with the community and other local agencies

Position open until filled.

Competitive compensation package commensurate with relevant skills and experience. Base salary of $75k with option for performance bonus.
