Hand to Hold, a national NICU family support non-profit, helps families before, during, and after NICU stays and infant loss. Hand to Hold seeks a part-time or contract mental health therapist who is passionate about improving support for NICU and bereaved families. Parents whose child(ren) is experiencing, or has experienced, a NICU stay due to preterm labor, a prenatal diagnosis or anomaly, and/or medical complications at birth are at higher risk for perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. We are looking for someone who has experience in maternal mental health and/or perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.

Virtual Family Support Specialist
Hand to Hold
Hand to Hold is a national non-profit providing NICU family support. This position provides peer psycho-social support and education for NICU families in the organization’s virtual settings. Leaning on their own personal experience and specific peer support training, the Virtual Family Support Specialist is responsible for supporting NICU families virtually in either one-on-one or in group settings, all with a goal to reduce the negative impact of a NICU stay and ensure the best outcome for the entire family.
This is a multi faceted role that requires a person who is energetic, proactive and motivated; a proven self starter with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, produces consistently high quality work, turns tasks around quickly and communicates effectively. This position plays a role in a variety of Hand to Hold programs in order to extend services to the maximum number of NICU families possible.

Hotline Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)
Integral Care
Integral Care's Call Center is the first contact and representation of Integral Care by phone to the public, consumers and providers. Calls coming into Integral Care's main phone numbers as well as calls from contract partners are answered by Call Center staff 24/7, including holidays. The QMHP's primary purpose is to handle crisis calls by providing telephonic crisis intervention services and risk assessments, to complete initial screenings, provide information about Integral Care services, provide community referrals and support, link callers with the appropriate service providers, and assist with scheduling appointments. These duties are completed with a focus on customer care, wherein staff will find ways to best meet the needs of clients. These job duties are performed under the supervision of an LPHA. The QMHP has moderate latitude for the exercise of independent judgment in most tasks performed, and works closely with a multitude of community partners, including but not limited to APD, TCSO, medical facilities, and schools.

Program Specialist
Integral Care
Located in the Behavioral Health Systems practice at Integral Care, this position is under the general supervision of the Operations Manager-Program Support. The Program Specialist (PS) performs complex quality assurance work in light of contractual and agency requirements, and Joint Commission accreditation standards. Upon identification of areas needing improvement, the Specialist works with practice leadership in the development, monitoring, and review of quality improvement initiatives. The Program Specialist serves as a training resource for clinical staff and managers with regards to Medicaid and other statutory regulations, documentation standards, and concepts related to person-centered care planning. The Program Specialist acts as liaison between the agency's MIS Department and the clinical practice, providing training and technical assistance in the use of the agency's electronic health record system, management reports, and other relevant information systems. This position has moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

The position will require the applicant to be physically present at a community based mental health provider in order to help recruit and collect survey data. Online Store Coordinator
Hand to Hold
The Online Store Coordinator position is responsible for all aspects of Hand to Hold’s online store. This position is based in Austin, TX and includes responsibility for the success of the store sales and meeting or exceeding budgeted goals each year.
Reporting to the Director of Development, this position will develop and implement plans to promote and sell Hand to Hold’s products and services available for use to NICU staff, individuals and hospital consumers. This means serving as a front-line contact for the NICU healthcare community and NICU families ensuring we are meeting their needs with our products and services. Personal experience with Hand to Hold’s mission is a plus.
