Missions
Creation of embedded software updates implementation for our products
Existing product analysis debug of embedded products production of documentation for end users beta software production for integration tests application and communication feature design for embedded bone and applications
Reuse, architecture and factorisation of code blocks
Interaction with hardware integration for product/proto production of embedded software products (trust chain for secure components, creation of production tools (flashers, testers))
Coding of integrated programs: antitearing and others smart cards techniques.
Asynchronous input/output code programming
Effective communication with other embedded development teams and hardware teams.
Communication and specification of marketing and product team requests
Expressing customer/frontend requests in features.
Exchanges with business development teams and frontend for integration
Participation in product development at an early stage : software prototyping
Communication with various equipment via various buses
Configuration management for efficient bug tracking

Requirements and qualifications
Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field
Relevant experience in Embedded C code optimization and security
Security and Cryptography knowledge (Hash, public and private keys signature, encryption ...)
Web services Back-end relations
Sdk Exploitation Competences in code compilation and optimization.
Embedded code debug (assembly or C) Cross compilation
A good understanding of the cryptocurrency, security ecosystem is a plus
Having a strong interest in cryptocurrencies and wishing to work with blockchain technology.

Description
As part of the Platform Architecture organization, the Security Architecture team has a mission to provide rock-solid security foundation to Apple’s products. We evaluate security threats, define security features, architect security solutions. We collaborate with the software teams to ensure seamless security systems. We work together with different silicon teams throughout the entire design flow to guarantee state-of-the-art security goes into various in-house and out-sourced silicon chips. You will be key to help us fulfill our mission with the following core responsibilities:
Analyze hardware and software attack vectors
Define HW and SW security related features
Architect security solutions in HW and SW.

PhD/PostDoc position: Cryptography secured against physical attacks

We are looking for people to work on: (1) formal security definitions and methods to defend implementations against combined attacks as well as new countermeasures against combined attacks which have improved performance and a more realistic adversary model. (2) the development of robust automated verification tools capable of handling entire and practical implementations. (3) to define metrics for combined security and to develop procedures for their evaluation using verification tools.
Specific Skills Required: The candidates should hold a master degree in Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Science, very good knowledge in C/C++ and Verilog/VHDL. Preferably to have passed courses in Cryptography and/or Computer Security.
