Equity and Inclusion Projects Specialist
Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay`
The Equity and Inclusion Projects Specialist is a critical role in advancing the Alliance’s commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice (DEIJ) programmatic efforts. The successful candidate will build upon the Alliance’s emerging partnership with Bowie State University and engage other Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) across the watershed. The Specialist will also coordinate seminar series and workforce development opportunities and serve as a key member of the organization’s DEI Team in expanding and carrying out strategies to engage under-resourced Chesapeake Bay watershed communities through our Forests, Agriculture, Green Infrastructure, and Stewardship & Engagement program areas.

Forestry Coordinator

In addition, the Coordinators will contribute to the full range of the Institute’s non-profit activities including green infrastructure, watershed education, lab research, grant writing, and fundraising.

Chesapeake Bay Landscape Professional (CBLP) PA/DE Coordinator
Chesapeake Conservation Landscaping Council (CCLC)
CBLP provides training and resources for landscape professionals and others on sustainable practice and green infrastructure. The PA-DE Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the successful expansion, growth and execution of CBLP programs in Pennsylvania and Delaware. This individual will work closely with other CBLP staff, and our instructors and partners. The PA-DE Coordinator will be expected to keep informed about CCLC and CBLP events and programs, and to build relationships with landscape professionals as well as local & state government, NGO and academic partners. This may include participating in regular conference calls and, occasionally, travel to other states. The PA-DE Coordinator reports to the CCLC Executive Director. This is a part-time, hourly, remote, contract position, which is expected to grow over time into a full-time salaried position. Project Manager - Ecosystem Restoration

GreenVest seeks a full-time Project Manager and/or Senior Project Manager to work in the challenging and rewarding field of ecosystem restoration. The successful candidate would be primarily based out of GreenVest’s Bowie, Maryland office with flexibility to split time between GreenVest’s Bowie and Baltimore offices. We are a widely recognized expert in fully delivering fixed-price, resilient, nature-based solutions. GreenVest seeks an energetic and motivated candidate with knowledge and experience in ecological restoration with direct experience managing ecosystem restoration projects and programs. Demonstrated experience in successfully managing large scale ecosystem restoration projects, while maintaining attention to detail and high standards of quality, is a must. The ideal candidate would have strong interpersonal skills capable of effectively working with and motivating staff, external partners, clients, and key stakeholders. Must be able to work in collaborative team settings as well as independently with minimal supervision and direction on multiple projects concurrently. Must possess the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients. Be an effective critical thinker and contain problem-solving skills. Have a strong work ethic, with a willingness to put in the time required when its required. Be a strategic thinker dynamically applying skills and experience working equally well in independent or in team settings. Strong preference will be given for the candidate that has strong business acumen and an understanding of the ecosystem services industry.
