Technical Leader - Utility Enterprise Data Management
EPRI This Technical Leader position will define, lead, manage and participate in research projects to explore and solve enterprise data management challenges faced by utilities.
The position will also advance the state-of-knowledge in the application of data-centric approaches, semantic modeling techniques, graph-based technologies, and industry data exchange standards at electric utilities. This position is for a subject matter expert with 5-7 years of experience.
This position is also responsible for working directly with utility personnel, government organizations, standards organizations, and technology vendors to carry out research projects that can impact the industry and advance research in the area of electric utility enterprise data management.
Job Functions: • Leads EPRI research projects associated with the application of enterprise data management solutions with utilities in North America and Europe • Contributes learnings from utility projects to the body of enterprise architecture/data management expertise cultivated and curated by the Enterprise Architecture project set. • Participates in and occasionally leads the development of international utility data exchange standards in line with the activities and learnings of EPRI projects e.g. IEC TC57, IEEE. • Presents EPRI research at EPRI member forums, conferences and other industry events
