The BCA assists with and coordinates the development and maintenance of the business continuity program, assists in the identification of critical points of failure and documents the solutions, and assists in the development of policies and procedures for business continuance and disaster recovery. The BCA tests business continuity plans with various operational groups and are involved in the evaluation and selection of vendors to ensure service level agreements meet business continuance and disaster recovery planning requirements. The BCA coordinates the efforts to develop and document the annual Disaster Recovery Tests, Tabletop exercises and participates in the tests.

What would I do?
As a Solution Architect you will be a part of our Enterprise Integration and Services team (EIS). EIS provides middleware for high reuse in the enterprise. EIS also provides coarse-grained services for reuse amongst Western & Southern Financial Group’s systems. These platforms and services are intended to provide connectivity with consistency and agility.
The Solution Architect should be able to articulate a vision for supporting the enterprise strategy by working with other application and platform teams; and collaborating with Enterprise Architects. Among other tasks, this candidate should demonstrate a working knowledge of API Gateways, Enterprise Service Bus implementations, Event Frameworks, and leveraging middleware as part of a Federated SSO approach. This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience in data integration, data modeling, data stores (especially relational databases), and BI/analytics. Experience in reference and master data management, data quality management, and systems integration is highly welcomed. An individual in this role is expected to have a keen eye for process improvement, technical solutioning, and the ability to understand different types of data structures.
