Smart Mouth is a unique and specialized healthcare office that treats oral dysfunction and tethered oral tissues in all ages. We have an interdisciplinary model where Dentists, Lactation Consultants, Massage Therapists, and Oral Myofunctional Therapists all work together as a team, in-office.
Our missing piece is an Infant Feeding Specialist, SLP or OT!
Each month we refer out dozens of babies to our wonderful local Infant Feeding Specialists for pre-frenectomy therapy. We are ready to have an in-office therapy option for our families! This is an amazing opportunity for therapists passionate about working with babies.
As this is a brand new position in our office, you have the opportunity to create your dream job. This can start out as a part time or full time position; we are happy to work with you as we grow.
Requirements:
License in Speech Language Pathology or Occupational Therapy
Experience working with infant feeding. Lactation knowledge/experience a strong plus.
A functional perspective
A passion for treating root causes
Knowledge or a strong interest in tethered oral tissues.
A commitment to life-long learning
Ready to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of experts
