Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Coordinates and/or participates in restoration project planning, working with agency partners and private landowners in the Klamath county community * Plans and/or participates in collaborative meetings, information sharing, and group learning activities with agency partners * Conducts field visits with landowners to provide technical support, understand needs, and plan projects * Develops and implements projects from start to finish, including planning, grant writing, contracting, project management, reporting, and monitoring; Project types will cover various disciplines related to juniper management, forest fire recovery, defensible space, weed management, forest health, and other conservation and sustainability on-farm practices * Supports the coordination of regional partnerships and collaborations related to restoration in priority sub-watersheds * Coordinates with KWP Project Manager and bookkeeper to plan and track program and project accounting, including but not limited to budget development, submission of invoices, requests for reimbursement from grantors, and financial reporting for grants.
