Summary
The individual will be tasked with providing engineering services for the power transmission and substation disciplines including maintenance, design, and construction of facilities. In addition, this individual will have project management responsibility for the design of EHV, HV, & MV substations and switching stations with an emphasis on modernization projects. The candidate should be knowledgeable in all appropriate electric utility industry regulatory requirements, standards, and best practices applicable to the functional area. Plans and forecasts projects independently, developing practical action plans to successfully complete project goals and objectives, and maintains exceptional client relationships. This candidate will be a key member for the expansion across the western region and support the growth of the national transmission & substation team. This position may be filled at the Project Manager, Sr. Project Engineer, or Project Engineer levels commensurate with experience.

Summary of Position:
The Construction Engineer/ Project Managers’ responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:

Solves complex construction and technical problems and identifies/organizes objectives and requirements.
Works closely with project management and lead engineers to ensure the construction activities align with contract objectives, schedule, and budgets.
Supports resources allocation and staffing requirements related to construction.
Maintains contact with individuals, organizations, and companies with special knowledge, expertise, and services pertaining to technical and construction matters within a particular field of expertise.
Supervises and coordinates the activities of other construction specialists, as required.
