Technical Project Coordinator
Recyclist Recyclist is seeing a Technical Project Coordinator to join our Data Solutions Team. The Technical Project Coordinator will work primarily, under the direction of the Product Manager, on configuring, deploying and maintaining a subset of Program Tracker applications, all while maintaining the highest levels of quality control. As such, the ideal candidate is eager to work in a fast-paced team environment.
The Technical Project Coordinator will analyze customer data and respond to support requests from customers, as well as taking steps to proactively ensure customer success. The Technical Project Coordinator will also contribute to overall management of team processes, with tasks ranging from administrative support to developing new systems and workflows. Because Recyclist manages numerous applications, the Technical Project Coordinator must demonstrate strong collaboration skills, effective communication and technical ability.

Recyclist Recyclist is seeking a Data Engineer to join our Engineering Team. The Data Engineer works closely with our Product Team to develop, maintain, expand and optimize our data to meet the requirements of our customers. The Data Engineer executes and develops SQL and Python code to transform varied datasets provided by our customers into standard data. They also perform additional data manipulations within our applications using Deluge, Zoho’s proprietary scripting language, to meet Recyclist and customer specifications. Key to this position is a focus on data and system integrity and consistency across multiple applications. SB1383 Outreach Coordinator
Specialty Solid Waste and Recycling The SB1383 Outreach Coordinator will work with Specialty staff, City of Sunnyvale, and sub-contractors, to help design and implement outreach and education programs that will assist customers on the successful roll-out of new programs, provide support to customers to help with reduction of contamination in city-wide recycling and organics collection services, provide coordination between Specialty staff and Drivers, as needed, for implementation of programs, provide training for required special events recovery programs, be present for booth and Specialty at community events, provide presentations to local community groups, and additional tasks as needed to support outreach and education efforts for customers in Sunnyvale. Sustainability Specialist/Recycling Coordinator
Milpitas Sanitation, Inc Provide technical assistance through education and training to Multi-Family and Commercial customers regarding the company’s collection services. Use company outreach assets to give advice and guidance on how to reduce contamination in the recycling and organics containers and achieve compliance with State, Local, and Franchise Agreements. Provide proper sorting training and presentations for customers, tenants, and employees. Be present as a community liaison at special events and conduct additional tasks as needed to support the outreach and education of customers. The Toxics Reduction and Healthy Ecosystems Program develops programs and policies to reduce the use of toxic chemicals in the commercial, residential and municipal sectors. The municipal toxics reduction team works with San Francisco City departments to implement the City’s Buy Green Program and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Program, through policy, training, outreach and technical support. We lead by example, and many of the projects we undertake in the municipal sector are replicated in our commercial and residential work, as well as by jurisdictions beyond San Francisco.
The Class 5638 Environmental Assistant works under the direct supervision of a Class 5642 Senior Environmental Specialist. The 5638 Environmental Assistant is responsible for implementing environmental ordinances, assisting in data analysis and report writing, working to develop and improve online dashboards, implementing environmental programs required by federal, state and local laws and regulations, and assisting program managers in projects and programs.

Zero Waste Sonoma This position will be responsible for grant applications related to SB 1383 compliance initiatives and food recovery programs as well as provide HHW program support services (i.e. scheduling HHW and e-waste collection events, managing the OPP Oil grant program, and managing the propane collection program with the Parks department, etc.). Food recovery program responsibilities may include enforcement, outreach, website, reporting, and social media.
