Are you looking for opportunity to perform state-of-the-art scientific research? Join our team as a Research Scientist! You will be responsible for applying innovative micro- and molecular biology techniques to help drive the development of new products and improved processes for Cargill Health Technologies. This position will support senior staff, perform experiments independently, and analyze critical data. You will stay current with literature and analytical advancements and work with limited supervision on daily tasks.

Key Accountabilities
Build and conduct scientific experiments. Process and analyze results of experiments and record data.
Execute microbiological and cell culture experiments, perform troubleshooting of analysis and results, and effectively communicate results to diverse scientific teams.
Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
Develop laboratory methods independently, while seeking assistance from appropriate staff when necessary.
May present ongoing work and findings to external audiences at conferences including the summaries and the nature and methodology of the research.
Other duties as assigned
