Environmental Volunteers Environmental Volunteers seeks a strategic, creative, and insightful Executive Director who will work to grow the impact of this forward-thinking environmental education organization and ensure that its education and stewardship mission, partnerships, programs, and fundraising thrive as the organization evolves.
The ideal ED will have a track record of significant experience in leadership and management positions, including positions with operational and financial oversight, successful fundraising, and developing dynamic new programs and innovations to drive growth in impact. They may come from a variety of career pathways, including business leadership, entrepreneurship, academia, government, or nonprofits. Private sector experience is helpful. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience with 10 years or more in senior management and relevant training is preferred.

Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District The Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District (Midpen) Ranger is a challenging and adventurous generalist position offering a wide variety of responsibilities and opportunities to exercise independent judgement while working on Midpen preserves. Rangers serve a unique role as stewards of the open space by regularly interacting with the community to provide visitor and trail information, natural resource education, interpretive services, and performing limited maintenance and resource management work on Midpen properties and facilities.

East Bay Regional Park District Application due May 12, 2023 The Position Under general direction, this position provides direction and overall management to the community outreach program and the Regional Managers that oversee the Park District’s naturalists, outdoor recreation, volunteer and community services programs and other services available to Park District parks users. The Chief of Interpretation and Recreation represents the Park District with external agencies, elected officials, and various public and private groups. This position performs highly complex professional assistance in support of the Park’s District Executive Team and Board of Directors in the delivery of interpretive and recreational services.
