Principal FEA Engineer: Neurovascular Implants
Medtronic Neurovascular (R&D)
Develop and implement computational (FEA) models to design and optimize neurovascular implants. Manage bench testing at material and structural level to support the numerical models.
Note: At least 6 years experience with FEA modeling of vascular implants/stents in industry (using Abaqus) highly preferred
Sr. Staff R&D Engineer - Implant Design and Computational Analysis
Abbott Structural Heart
Help us design and evaluate the next generation of mitral and tricuspid valve repair devices using CAD and finite element analysis.
Role will include device design, device modeling, material modeling, fatigue analysis, device and tissue interaction analysis, component and assembly tolerance analyses, device testing, and finite element model development.
- Advanced degree preferred
- Abaqus experience preferred
- 10 yrs of work experience preferred, but candidates with less experience will be considered.
