ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

Responsible for the overall sales performance of an assigned customer base, and develops growth.
Sets correct pricing by variety, size, pack and grade on a weekly basis for all customers.
Ensures customer service levels for themselves and direct reports service levels are maintained at all times.
Makes sales visits on assigned customers to discuss promotional activities, distribute samples of new citrus varieties and packs, inspect products, and to promote Sunkist citrus products; Conducts business reviews with customers on a regular basis.
Supervise direct reports. Responsible for hiring, training, mentoring, counseling, coaching and meeting with each to drive results.
Works with customers to sell fruit in order to hit personal and team sales goals.
Resolves credit and collection issues with assigned customers.
Analyzes both customer specific and market sales data to optimize sales strategies.
Required to travel domestically to customer sites, sales meetings and food shows.
Regular and timely attendance.
Accomplishes department and organization goals by completing related tasks as needed.

 Prepares space required for planned production.

 Monitors growing conditions and discuss changes in humidity, moisture and temperature, and cultivation procedures with head growers to ensure conformance with quality control standards.

 On a regular basis inspects crop to ascertain conditions such as leaf texture, bloom size, and the existence of pests or disease; removing substandard or diseased plants to maintain quality standards.

 Applies fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and fungicides as directed.

 Assists in the development of growing procedures for new species in the product line and new cultivation techniques.
