Position Overview
The need for advanced analytics has become essential to provide informed decision making to help drive Transmission & Distribution into top quartile performance in safety, reliability, and affordability. The Maintenance, Performance, and Reliability (MPR) organization provides T&D business partners with information to discover the underlying drivers of performance using descriptive statistics, and develop predictive and prescriptive models to drive significant transformation of business processes.
The MPR Analytics & Visualization Analyst will partner with Visualization Specialists in the development and implementation of analytical solutions to T&D organizations using SAS & Other IT applications. You will collaborate and work closely with our business partners to create dynamic reports to meet their business requirements using SAS analytical solutions as well as IT enterprise applications. This position is pivotal to MPR’s commitment to becoming a World Class Analytics Organization as well as helping T&D organizations to apply data driven statistical models to achieve to top quartile performance.

This role will be a subject matter expert in marketing analytics, especially with using Google Analytics. You will analyze site behavior and customer conversion funnels KPI’s using various analytics tools to recommend changes and improve performance for the company. Good vibes, good energy is a must. Our ideal candidate has at least 3 years’ experience in an analytical role with a strong background in data analysis and quantitative thinking, along with a strong ability to interpret results and provide insights. Additional experience with designing and setting up A/B test with Optimize, Optimizely, or VWO and campaign/website tagging – experience with Google Analytics 360, Google Tag Manager, Google Optimize, Data Studio, DoubleClick, and any Call Tracking system a big plus.

We are looking for an analyst who is passionate about being the voice of the customer to look at data and recommend improvements for our mobile applications. For this position, we need someone who is excited to develop the dashboards, KPI’s, reporting, and analysis. We are looking for someone with 4 – 6 years of experience organizing, analyzing, and interpreting digital web and mobile data. The ideal candidate would have a strong background in data analysis and quantitative thinking and be able to provide detailed and accurate reporting. Mixpanel or Google Analytics experience along with an advanced Microsoft Excel skillset is a must. We would love it if you have experience with Optimizely and VWO along with working knowledge or knowledge of R (GNU S), SAS, SQL, SPSS, Python or other data-extraction and analysis tools such as Tableau.
