Purpose

The Senior Systems Engineer will help support and deploy Spire’s next-generation, cloud-based content production pipeline for high-end animation. We are developing a work-from-anywhere approach that will depend on a rock solid systems foundation that integrates the latest cloud technology with our high-power on-premise hardware. The Senior Systems Engineer will work with our technical and creative leads to help engineer a multi-regional platform for remote and in-person collaboration. Responsibilities

Work in a cross-functional team to architect and engineer the most optimal cloud-based and on-prem solutions for the studio.

Engineer and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions for the studio.

Engineer and manage globally-distributed VDI solutions.

Engineer and manage cloud and on-prem replicated storage solutions.

Engineer and manage Windows software lifecycle management IaC (Infrastructure as Code) pipeline.

Architect and manage cloud and on-prem solutions supporting the studio asset-management pipeline.

Plan and operate the network, VPN, MFA, IPAM, DNS and Cert management solutions for the studio.

Proactively monitor and troubleshoot systems engineering issues.

Operate Spire's cloud platform and provide service owner support and participate in incident escalations.

Administrator laptops, workstations, and cloud-based instances throughout the company.

Stay current with industry trends, making recommendations as needed to help the organization innovate and excel.
