Job Description: S P O T, Inc. is seeking a skilled and passionate Out-Patient Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with Occupational Therapists to provide therapy services to children in our outpatient clinic setting. You will assist in implementing treatment plans, conducting therapy sessions, and documenting progress. You will work collaboratively with a team of therapists and support staff to deliver individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each child. New graduates with fieldwork clinical experience are welcome to apply! Mentorship resources will be provided to support the professional growth and development of new graduates.
Responsibilities:
• Implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision and guidance of Occupational Therapists
• Providing one-on-one therapy sessions and group activities to improve fine motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living skills
• Collaborating with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and continuity of care
• Monitoring and documenting progress, whiling communicating with OT when treatment plans need to be adjusted as necessary.
• Assisting in the maintenance and organization of therapy materials and equipment
