Communications Assistant | Part-Time
Cat Adoption Team
Cat Adoption Team (CAT) is looking for a creative, organized, and tech-savvy Communications Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will help CAT maintain and grow our online presence by developing and writing social media and website content, as well as responding quickly and gracefully to contacts through email and social media posts/messaging. Excellent communication skills are a must, as you will be representing CAT in interactions with the public and our partners. Under the direction of the Communications and Development Manager, you will implement online marketing strategies, develop social media campaigns, craft original content (for social and print materials), and monitor and measure social engagement. In addition to creating, scheduling, and monitoring social media content, you will also support PR and other communications-related projects.

This is primarily a remote position with a flexible schedule that runs M-F plus at least one weekend day. This is a part-time, non-exempt position working approx. 10-15 hours/week, depending on the organization’s needs. At times, there may be opportunities to assist with other CAT projects, but additional hours are not guaranteed.

You must be comfortable working independently and remotely. Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, excellent writing and customer service skills, and a desire to be part of a close-knit team working to help cats, kittens, and people have better lives! Community Resource & Volunteer coordinator

The Community Resource & Volunteer Coordinator (CRVC) provides daily administrative
support to The Center’s operations, volunteer staffing, community resource acquisition, special
events, and program management. Under the guidance of the Community Outreach &
Operations Manager the CRVC will be responsible for growing and coordinating a diverse
volunteer corps including recruitment, training, placement, supervision, and recognition. The
CRVC will also represent The Center and its programs through external and internal

SUMMARY: The Chief Operating Officer is responsible for the overall financial health and operation of the organization. The COO reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is the senior staff person for finance, information and technology, and office management. The COO provides counsel and strategic support to the CEO and the board on all financial matters, and will also be required to perform more routine day-to-day tasks, e.g. bookkeeping entries and bank deposits.

SUMMARY: The Community Engagement Coordinator will be an immersive ambassador who will work to maintain, grow, and build new relationships within the community to further Brown Hope’s ability to make justice a lived experience for Black, Brown, and Indigenous people in Oregon. The Community Engagement Coordinator is responsible for creating progressive and equitable partnerships with individuals, businesses, and other relevant organizations. Candidates should live in the community, have existing knowledge of and relationships with community networks, public speaking skills and the ability to attend teleconference meetings and also to travel within community.

Foster & Adoption Coordinator
Animal Aid
The Foster & Adoption Coordinator serves as the primary contact for potential and active Animal Aid dog foster parents and dog adoption applicants. This person will also be a back-up coordinator for cat foster parents and cat adoption applicants, providing oversight and support to volunteer foster and adoption counselors. This person works with the Animal Care Manager and the intake and adoption committees to coordinate the placement of animals into foster homes, oversees communication with dog foster parents, coordinates additional resources as needed by foster families (e.g., education, training, etc.), and participates in the adoption process for all dogs. This person will also assist with cat fostering and adoption, with room for growth in these operations. This is a paid, part-time position with medical healthcare benefits.
