Position Summary:

As the Development Director of Sponsorship & Convenings at Points of Light, you will lead our efforts to reach revenue targets through signature convenings and sponsorships. Your role will be instrumental in shaping our fundraising strategy, using events and gatherings to elevate our profile and increase awareness of our mission. Reporting to the Vice President of Partner Engagement, you’ll drive partner engagement strategies to meet organizational goals and cultivate strong relationships with current and prospective donors.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with the development team to enhance awareness and garner support for Points of Light among crucial audiences such as corporations, foundations, and high-impact donors.
Create and maintain event pipelines, ensuring healthy and expansive pipelines and execution of prospective donors/sponsors.
Execute strategies that enhance Points of Light public stewardship and recognition of key donor relationships.
Ensure opportunities for stewardship and deepened engagement with our donors through our signature convenings (Corporate Service Council (CSC) Summits, The George H.W. Bush Points of Light Awards Celebration, Points of Light Conference).
