About the role
As the Qualifications and Assessments Product Manager, you will work closely with the Head of Assessment in defining, developing and implementing quality standar... ds, policies and procedures for the management of SFJ’s products.

You will have line management responsibilities within the product function while also collaborating cross-departmentally to ensure that SFJ operates in compliance with regulatory requirements and delivers outstanding customer experience at all times.

Your key responsibilities will include leading the management of SFJ’s products throughout their lifecycle, managing cost and resources to meet budget controls, as well as ensuring you and your team build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders, being a source of advice, guidance and support.

Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone who has previous experience managing and implementing qualifications and assessment development processes.

You will also need to be someone who has a strong understanding of assessment methodologies and their application to vocational education and training, including apprenticeships and an understanding of the role of awarding organisations and EPAO’s within the education and training sector.

The Qualifications and Assessments Product Manager will be confident in their knowledge of the Regulatory Conditions of Recognition and Regulatory Principles across the UK.

Quality Assurance Manager

About the role
The Quality Assurance Manager will be an integral part of the quality assurance activity of Approved Centres for Qualsafe Awards, managing the responsibility for... the implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of the company’s Centre Assessment Standard Scrutiny (CASS) strategy.

You will work closely with the Head of Quality Assurance and Compliance to devise an annual quality assurance plan, covering all Centres across all regions. Other key responsibilities include:

Evaluating Centre and EQA feedback to improve processes, procedures and service standards
Managing a team of Quality Assurance roles
Ensuring organisational compliance with operational procedures and policies
Lead on the Quality Assurance activity for the business
As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will ensure that, through Qualsafe’s CASS strategy, all reasonable steps are taken to determine whether or not an a assessment remains, or was, fit for purpose and the criteria against which Learners’ performance is differentiated are being, or were applied accurately and consistently by trainers and assessors in different Centres.

Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone who has previous experience of working within a quality assurance role, and who has an understanding the needs, issues and decision-making processes of quality control or compliance in a regulated business environment.

The Quality Assurance Manager will also be able to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, has strong communication skills, as well as prioritise and manage multiple activities simultaneously.

Head of Quality and Standards

About the role
The Head of Quality and Standards is a brand new role for Gateway Qualifications as part of their ambitious growth and development plans.

You will be resp... onsible for assuring the quality and standards of all assessments and centres’ delivery, ensuring full regulatory compliance through robust quality assurance and management.

You will also develop, deliver and drive the quality assurance function, and oversee the activities to provide support and guidance to recognised centres.

The Head of Quality and Standards will report to the Director of Awarding and work with them to develop and lead the successful strategy and operation of the quality assurance function for regulated qualifications. This will involve working with Ofqual, Qualifications Wales and QAA, whilst also ensuring the compliance of unregulated products.

You will take the lead on determining standards and monitoring requirements to ensure the quality of provision and compliance in centres in relation to qualification delivery and assessment.

Furthermore, you will oversee a small team and be responsible for inspiring, motivating and managing them to ensure high engagement and performance to deliver the strategic plan.

Who we are looking for
As the Head of Quality and Standards, you will have experience working within an awarding organisation and be well versed in the regulatory requirements associated with assessment, product delivery and awarding.

You will demonstrate how you have maintained and raised standards in assessment and/or assessment delivery through devising and developing processes and standards.

Drawing on your experience of leading and managing a team of staff and associates, you will show how you have supported and encouraged them to develop their own skills and understanding of quality and compliance.

Assessment Manager

About the role
This role is a key position responsible for a number of areas including:
Assisting with the design and development of computer-based and narrative examination... s and other assessments.
Liaising with stakeholders and examiners, ensuring exams, assessments, and associated learning resources are produced in accordance with the syllabus, test criteria and deadlines.
Assisting with the monitoring of the performance of our existing portfolio of qualifications and assessments and preparing the case for retention or withdrawal.
Using our assessment software to construct and publish exams in accordance with test criteria and deadlines.
Analysing and responding to feedback from candidates.
Reporting to the Senior Qualifications Manager, and part of a larger qualifications team of 20 based in the UK and Sri Lanka, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to support each other as required.

The role will be responsible for both narrative and MCQ assessments conducted both digitally via assessment systems and through traditional paper-based methods.

This is a fast-paced role. On a global scale, CISI has 1500 candidates a year taking their narrative assessments and over 30,000 students taking on-demand MCQ assessments across their 80 different subject areas.

Who we are looking for

As the Qualifications Manager, you will have previous experience managing assessment lifecycles and understand how to prioritise and organise your time and work to ensure that rigid deadlines are met.

You will have excellent attention to detail to ensure the standards and quality of assessment content, plus be able to review documentation and statistics to solve problems and recognise trends in the performance of assessments.

The Qualifications Manager role will also need you to have good interpersonal skills to liaise with industry specialists and engage colleagues at all levels.
