Catering Sales Manager
Westin Portland Harborview Effectively attain assigned sales and revenue goals as well as solicitation call goals. Understand all details pertaining to the wedding, local, social, and small group market. Work directly with clients, wedding planners, and meeting planners gathering necessary information for menu planning, floor plan, room set up, timelines, rental orders, decor, cost and billing details and any other requirements pertinent to their event. Proactively conduct solicitation calls conduct sales tours and entertain clients specific to Social Corporate Business or SMERF as applicable by property. Grow existing relationships with assigned accounts specific to Leisure SMERF Business Travel (BT) and/or Groups as applicable by property. Monitor and evaluate trends within your market segment. Develop menus for the wedding and corporate markets. Assist with selling and implementing catering promotions. Must be onsite for events to greet clients and ensure expectations are met (may require working nights and weekends). Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive friendly courteous and service-oriented manner. Adheres to Aimbridge Hospitality’s established regulations company standards catering/meeting standards and related catering sales metrics. Develop a full working knowledge of the operations and policies of the hotel and applicable departments. Ensure that the Daily Event List Banquet Event Order/Guarantee Sheet and Ten Day Event Schedule are generated on a timely basis and ensure accuracy. Maintain strong visibility in local community and industry organizations as applicable. May assist in implementing and/or participating in special promotions relating to direct sales segments i.e. sales blitzes etc. Attend daily/weekly/monthly meetings and any other functions required by management. Perform any other duties as requested by the General Manager or Director of Sales.
Sales & Marketing Coordinator
Westin Portland Harborview • Answers phones; qualifies incoming inquiry calls and ensures all inquiries are dealt with accurately timely and in a professional manner • Assists managers on creative projects including proposals direct mail pieces invitations special events etc • Maintains timely and effective paper flow and communication within department and to other departments • Assists guests and clients with small changes requests etc. and completes needed paperwork for Manager • Monitors/Orders office supplies and sales collateral to ensure we are properly stocked at all times with full packets collateral supplies and promotional items • Calls clients for guarantee numbers for functions 72 hours prior creates/closes house accounts and completes AV order • Organizes in house deliveries amenities welcome letters transportation schedules etc. as needed • Assist with executing annual media plans • Coordinates and oversees ad website and collateral production • Manages Social Media • Participates in branding discussions and monitors brand cohesiveness through all marketing materials • Spearhead the brand identity for the hotel & outlets on social media • Conduct market research and identify opportunities/industry trends and ways to make revenue from them • Conduct analysis of customer research current market conditions • Helps with developing and implementing marketing plans and projects for new and existing projects • Aligns campaigns and materials to overall marketing strategy • Works with internal partners to define marketing plan scope and objectives • Develops marketing collateral and messaging • Drives consistency and brand awareness across regions and locations • Attends Sales Meetings and take minutes type and distribute accordingly • Others items as they relate to the Sales and Marketing effort of the hotel as well as any other items as needed by entire management staff • Any other duties as assigned by DOS specific to respective property
Food and Beverage Director
Westin Portland Harborview The Food & Beverage Director is responsible for assuring attentive friendly courteous and efficient service in all F&B Outlets (Restaurant, Room Service, Lounge, Market, and Banquets) while maintaining adherence to budgeted payroll and overhead cost. They are also responsible for continually working towards improving food and beverage revenue to meet, or exceed, budget. The Director of Food and Beverage is responsible for directing and organizing the activities of the Food and Beverage Department to ensure a consistently high-quality food product, while at the same time developing their team, and driving a positive work environment. In addition, this position is charged with consistently improving guest and employee satisfaction. Management-level associates are expected to work as much of each workday as is necessary to complete their job responsibilities; for OEM associates overtime does apply and is calculated accordingly.
Assistant Front Office Manager

They must have a thorough knowledge of numerous massage modalities possess a general understanding of body treatments and be willing to train in our spa’s specific massage and body treatment offerings. They must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness solutions to meet the needs of our guests.
Inside Sales Support
Portland Paper Products The inside salesperson will focus on customer acquisition and provide support for our outside sales representatives. This position involves calling current customers, cold calling new potential customers, customer business referrals and web leads. Provide prospective customer with all services offered and additional presentations as needed. Work with customers to create solutions for their needs and consult through the sales process.
