Regional Engineer

The Regional Engineer is responsible for maintaining environmental compliance and permit requirements and acting as the senior local technical expert with regards to engineering and environmental concepts for assigned locations. The incumbent will apply engineering principles to prepare technical reports, conduct periodic tests, audits, or inspections of organizational processes, collect, and analyze samples, investigate incidents and complaints, and recommend corrective action as necessary. Water Treatment Applications Engineer/Scientist

As an Applications Engineer, you will be responsible for evaluating potential wastewater streams for their treatability using Rochem systems. You will prepare proposals for the sale of Rochem systems, including auxiliary equipment sizing, pricing, and applicability.

Qualifications
· B.S. in Engineering or a physical Science, Chemical/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering preferred
· 3-5 years experience required with wastewater/ industrial water treatment process design preferred
· Strong chemistry background
· Very strong written and verbal communication skills
· Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint proficient
· Hands on mechanical and/ or electrical skills is a plus
· Database experience beneficial
· CAD experience preferred (AutoCAD or Vectorworks for Mac OS)
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Engineering firm experience is a plus
· Familiarity with Spanish or German is a plus

(1) Possession of a valid license to operate a motor vehicle in the State of New York will be required at time of appointment and maintain same while in the title. (2) Depending on work assignment, must meet stand OSHA regulation 1910.134 Respiratory Protection, and will be required to meet Federal, State and local standards with respect to health and safety.
