Technical Project Manager

The Technical Project Manager will provide vital technical expertise and support to various programs offered by Southface Sarasota. Specific responsibilities of this role may include, but are not limited to:

Perform, manage, and review complex resource efficiency audits and reporting (ASHRAE level 2 equivalent)
Using Southface protocols, perform, manage, and review indoor air quality assessments and reporting
Consult with internal and external clients on sustainability issues related to building systems, performance, and occupant behavior
Set up, populate, and monitor ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager accounts for data integrity and support energy assessments
Perform energy modeling analysis and reporting for certification requirements, conceptual design analysis and refinement and performance evaluations
Interface with local energy efficiency businesses to determine market and partnerships, including networking and presentations.

Miami Waterkeeper is seeking an individual with legal and policy experience in the environmental field. An ideal candidate for this role will have a deep passion for our mission and will be highly-skilled, detail-oriented, independent, exceptionally organized, and self-motivated. This person will be able to guide overall mission-oriented strategy, including litigation and legislation. This candidate can manage multiple projects simultaneously, pivot quickly, and will be able to work closely across teams. Our Environmental Attorney will feel comfortable making policy and legal recommendations to the Executive Director and Waterkeeper and working with outside counsel as well as our policy team. This individual will have an in-depth understanding of the Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, NEPA, rulemakings, and related regulations. This is a key role focused on helping to guide overall mission-oriented strategy and implementation. This role will oversee the science, policy, and education focus area, teams. Therefore, an ideal candidate can manage multiple projects simultaneously, pivot quickly, and will be able to work closely across disciplines. Our Senior Program Director will feel comfortable delivering campaigns and leading teams at a high level and at a rapid pace. Communities located in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia working in all stages of sustainability implementation join the network to scale, accelerate, and implement sustainable best practices so that our region’s communities are equipped to adapt to and mitigate climate change. The Policy Manager position will primarily support SSDN's state policy work in Florida and Georgia.
