This will include care of both the first opinion and referral inpatients. The role is ideally suited to an RVN with post qualification experience.

The work pattern is based on 7 nights on 7 nights off on a rolling rota 8pm-7am (an average of 38.5 hrs per week) Monday to Sunday. This will include bank holidays, Christmas/ New Year bank holidays are worked on a separate rota basis with the wider nursing team.

Although our team is new, it is growing quickly and you will work alongside experienced vets (in house cardiology certificate holder, visiting board certified orthopaedic surgeon, soft tissue surgeon diplomate and imaging diplomate) and nurses (diploma in feline nursing, merit award in Small Animal Medical Nursing from BVNA). We have GOLD standard Cat Friendly accreditation, a Fear Free advocate and a huge equipment list.

The ideal candidate will have a good work ethos, will work up the cases properly, will have good bedside manner and good communication skills. Candidates that are experienced in surgery or are fond of it and want to develop will be given priority. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon

Full time (4 or 4.5 days a week) or part time vet to join our team in Warwickshire. Part time role could fit around school hours if needed.

We have several certificate holders in surgery, medicine and imaging. We have several vets working towards certificates as well. We run our own out of hours from our hospital in Warwick. We have laparoscopic surgery, CT, digital X-ray and dental X-ray. We are a supportive practice who all help each other out with lots of case discussions.
