Job Description
CrossBoundary is recruiting a full-time Associate Principal to join CrossBoundary in Central America. As a member of the transaction team, you will actively contribute to a powerful intervention that has the potential for significant impact on investment into Latin America and the Caribbean, in addition to building CrossBoundary’s long term presence in the region.
CrossBoundary is an investment firm. As an Associate Principal, you will identify and evaluate investment opportunities, conduct macroeconomic market assessments, and provide investment transaction support. Associate Principal candidates should have 7+ years of experience working in high-caliber finance or consulting organizations and experience working in developing countries – ideally in Latin America. Interest and expertise in international trade and investment programs will be regarded favorably.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
- 5+ years in top tier banking, consulting, private equity, or similar - Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or another advanced degree strongly desired - Experience working in developing countries - Spanish and English business fluency (Portuguese for Brazil's role)

RESPONSABILIDADES
• Evaluación de las empresas: realizar el análisis financiero y estratégico, así como la evaluación de su impacto social o ambiental para informar la toma de decisiones.
• Estructuración de créditos: definir los términos de los créditos de acuerdo con el modelo de análisis crediticio, las características del portafolio así como la necesidad del Cliente.
• Presentación ante el Comité de Inversión: preparar informes y presentaciones para comunicar los riesgos y recomendaciones a la Dirección así como los miembros del Comité.
• Gestión de la Debida Diligencia: recopilar la información legal del Cliente y coordinar la revisión de los contratos con los abogados para asegurar el cumplimiento de los requisitos legales y regulatorios.
• Apoyo en el desarrollo estratégico: participación en iniciativas puntuales de optimización de procesos y tecnología, así como investigaciones de mercado para la mejora continua de VIWALA.
ERES UNA PERSONA:
• Con grado universitario en Finanzas, Economía, Administración de Negocios
• Con 3+ años de experiencia previa en Finanzas, Consultoría o Emprendimiento
• Proactiva con habilidades de comunicación y negociación efectivas para establecer relaciones sólidas
• Que solucione problemas de forma creativa
• Capaz de gestionar múltiples tareas y cumplir con plazos establecidos
• Apasionada por el emprendimiento y el impacto socioambiental
