After School Bus Monitor
Gestalt Community Schools
Primary Duties and Responsibilities include
Assists the bus driver with the safety, movement, management, and care of the children boarding the school bus, leaving the bus, or being transported
Assists the school bus driver in reporting infractions of school bus safety
Assists bus driver with pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintains a high standard of student conduct at all times
Assists driver in keeping the bus clean and inspecting for damages and repairs on a daily basis
Qualifications
Must possess and maintain a current driver’s license
Walk, lift, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb, kneel, and crouch.
Work in various inside and outside environments subjected to weather changes, noise, vibrations, job hazards, and atmospheric conditions. Knowledge of business and management principles
Observe general surroundings and activities.
