Print, retail, packaging, web, digital, events—even porta potties—are our canvas and runners are our inspiration. Our growing team seeks a Design Intern to develop marketing creative to support seasonal product launches, events, and retail.

As a Design Intern you’ll bring your conceptual thinking, passion, keen eye, and creative talent to every project that comes your way. Through this opportunity, you will gain exposure to working within a global consumer-focused organization. Our North America (NA) Footwear Merchandising Team is a seeking a Merchandising Intern to work at our Seattle HQ offices. This team is responsible for delivering the seasonal inline and Merchandise Runner Assortments (MRA) to win with runners in North America. You will look at consumer trends and leverage data to understand the needs and wants of the runner to deliver the most winning combination of products to the market. You will also work closely with the design, development, color and trend teams as well as the product line merchandisers.

You will gain exposure to how we utilize competitor data/insights as part of understanding the market landscape to help inform seasonal decisions. A key focus for this opportunity is to support the Footwear Competitive Analysis by helping to create a new process for the cadence of updates to incorporate runner feedback. You will research and provide suggestions on both how and when we incorporate runner feedback into the competitor analysis. You will shadow and receive mentorship from the NA Merchandising Team and work on projects designed to not only update our current competitive analysis but also define a long term plan for how we sustainably continue to infuse the runner feedback into the analysis.

Our Retail Analytics Team is seeking an intern to work at our Seattle HQ offices. This position will work closely with the Retail Analytics and Sales teams in support of our largest retail partners to ensure that we have the right product at the right time for our customers. We help our key retailers better understand which style and categories are resonating within their Brooks businesses and support Sales leadership to identify inventory needs, seasonality and product trends and pricing shifts across our US channels. Our work impacts revenue planning to build smarter targets and better anticipate the needs of our customers.

Through this opportunity you will help support the business of one of our key retail partners through the creation of a sales tracker dashboard in Tableau. Our Transportation Team is seeking a Network Operations intern to work at our Seattle HQ offices. This position will work closely with the Transportation team, which is responsible for building and managing a global transportation network that delivers the required capacity and drives aggressive lead times at optimal costs. The team also works closely with Supply and Demand Planning, Sourcing, Distribution and Runner Experience teams.

Through this opportunity you will help Transportation create metrics, analyze shipment history data, and engage in root cause analysis to support optimizing transportation segments originating from the factories in Asia to our DCs in North America, UK and EMEA.

You will gain exposure to Ocean and Air Carriers, Overseas Order Management Providers, Port of Entry Transload Operators, Drayage providers and inland transportation providers via truck and rail by supporting Transportation Network Operations with daily operational tasks and participation in optimization initiatives.

You will research and provide recommendations on improved utilization of ocean containers, reduction in over, shorts and damages (OS&D) of manufacturing orders, process changes that reduce lead times, improve order shipment visibility and overall transportation network consistency.

You will shadow and work under the mentorship of the Transportation Network Operations Manager and complete work with the goal of gaining experience managing transportation network operations.

Our NA Demand Planning Team is seeking a Demand Planning graduate intern to work at our Seattle HQ offices.

The Demand Planning team plays a crucial role in ensuring that we have the right product at the right time to meet our customers’ needs and our business goals. Their mission is to develop an operational plan at SKU level to drive the company’s operations. (supply plan, manufacturing plan, distribution plan…). To do so they blend historical sales trends and patterns, working closely with Sales, Product, Marketing and Supply Planning.

During 2024, the NA Demand Planning team will implement a statistical system for the first time.
Your role will be to support demand planning in several analyses to improve the demand plan processes and set the required procedures, to work with the new system and continuously improve our standards.

In this role you will gain a good understanding of the end-to-end planning process and how to ensure a smooth flow of information from consumer and retailer feedback to product planning and finally to demand planning, and how it flows to Market Supply Planning and finally to our sourcing partners and manufacturing sites.
