The Manager, Regional Programs (Energy) will lead a small team of staff and work across the Latrobe Valley Authority (LVA) and external partners to deliver the Program of Work activities, projects and outcomes.

The position will work as part of the LVA's Extended Leadership Team to enable the organisation's purpose as a catalyst for place-based transition, transformation and long-term sustainable prosperity for the region.

The main key accountabilities of the role are:

Provide values based leadership to the Regional Strength Team – Energy, to successfully deliver on the Program of Work outcomes, and support learning, professional and career development.
Provide strategic thought leadership to develop and guide the LVA's position on key Energy issues and policy, including preparing and delivering briefings, submissions and proposals, reports and advice that are timely, accurate, fit-for-purpose and support evidence informed decision making.
Seek and promote opportunities for team members to develop multi-disciplinary ways of working and connecting across the various activities/projects within the Program of Work, and across the LVA.
Actively monitor and report on progress of the Program of Work, contribute to evaluation activities and provide strategic advice to leadership.
Build and nurture effective and productive working relationships across the LVA, department, with key stakeholders and peak bodies to gain commitment and enable greater impact of the Program of Work.
