The GLF Digital Content Consultant works on ... the GLF web team providing timely, technically proficient, compelling and error-free content updates to the GLF platforms: WordPress website, Hivebrite Community platform, event platforms, and other. In addition, the consultant will support the GLF and GLFx teams with the general administration of these platforms. The consultant may work on special digital projects as agreed with the supervisor
Key responsibilities include the following:
Under the guidance of the Communications Coordinator and the Global Webmaster, manage the content of the GLF digital platforms ensuring that all content is up to date and consistent.
Work with digital marketing, social media, communications, and web team and contribute to the design and implementations of web strategy, social media strategy, advertising, digital campaigns, competitions and events.
Coordinate with internal and external teams and individuals on the development and placement of digital content as agreed with the supervisor.
CIFOR The Communications Project Consultant will play a key role in guiding projects such as the Agroecology TPP to establish clear messaging about its vision, mission and progress to i... ts stakeholders and on the GLFx platform specifically.
Through working within the GLFx team and the GLF Knowledge team and the Communications teams, the Communications Project Consultant will be in charge of executing the overarching CIFOR and TPP communications strategy through the GLFx platform.
Key responsibilities include the following:
TPP communications strategy development: Work with the TPP team on the communications and engagement strategy Execute tactical campaigns across TPP channels Support in relevant activities, including but not limited to Digital Summits, session or workshop development and other outreach activities.
Key Messaging: Liaise between the TPP team and GLF/CIFOR communications teams Communicate research/academic learnings to a broad audience Communicate complex agroecology topics to a variety of stakeholders, from donors to civil society
Web presence and community building: Take charge of the web presence of the TPP with the GLFx team and/or CIFOR teams Oversee online community building and management on the GLFx platform Develop, maintain and implement a CoP engagement and knowledge sharing strategy informed by periodic needs assessments Support value feedback loops between the Agroecology TPP and other communities on the platform.

CIFOR Duties and responsibilities
The GLFx Community Engagement Consultant is responsible for ensuring active engagement on the GLFx digital platform: building connections betwee... n members themselves and various groups, peer to peer and cross learning, knowledge sharing (content marketing) and enabling local action. The will develop engagement approaches that will support and sustain membership growth and interactions on the GLFx platform, including GLFx chapters, communities of practice (CoPs) and groups. The Community Engagement Consultant will support effective knowledge sharing and cross-team learning within GLFx and collaboration with Learning, Communications and Digital teams in support of GLFx community engagement on the digital platform. In doing so, the Community Engagement Consultant will support the GLF’s aspiration of building decentralized and dedicated online communities.
