The Sales Specialist must also possess the ability to plan, organize and effectively complete sales projects, as well as other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Job location: Mission, BC, Canada / Accommodation in other regions/countries is possible during the probation period
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time job is possible during the probation period
Description:
· Responsible for generating new sales for assigned territory, industry and for identifying and recruiting partners to resell company products
· Promotes and sells products to current or new customers/partners and informs customers of new product launches
· Monitors customer, market and competitor activity and provides feedback to company leadership team and other company functions
· Assists with the development and execution of marketing strategy
· Participates in the preparation of marketing materials
· Coordinates special events, such as exhibitions, workshops, seminars
· Creates and updates content for company on-line resource as needed
· Collaborates with the company departments, including foreign divisions
· Sets up and coordinate technical product presentations on customer’s site or locally
Requirements:
· Bachelors or Master’s Degree is mandatory. Background in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and related areas or equivalent will be a preference
· Sales B2B experience in a technology manufacturing company for at least 2 years
· Excellent oral and written skills
· Strong communication and time management skills
· Highly adaptable and independent
· Native English speaker, French will be a preference
· Must be available for up to 50% business travel, including Canada and the USA
