MDA Hospitality The PT Editor/Design Assistant position is designed to become acclimated to the methodology, process, and design of MDA Hospitality training. The Editor will be exposed to the pro... cess of developing content for companies, to include Fortune 100, and how training meaningfully ties employees to the company’s culture and mission. The position involves enhancing training through technology and its importance in the strategic development of MDA Hospitality. Most work will be remote, though there may be occasions where onsite work is required and will be mutually agreed upon in advance.
Duties and Responsibilities • Develop training content both in written and script form for visual aids. • Editing documents for various companies. • Design Work. • Social Media Presence. • Client Virtual Calls. • Understand the methodology of MDA Hospitality and how the company functions as an extension of partner companies. • Understand the importance of developing and speaking in the voice of the partner company. • Understand the value of training to enhancing employee confidence. • Learn the importance of employee feedback to the development of training. • Learn the strategic plan of companies and how training ties to that mission. • Learn how to tweak standards to comport with realistic workflows. • Investigate technology options to digitize training analytics. • Responsibly convey MDA Hospitality ‘s mission to others. • Participate in virtual meetings both for MDA and MDA clients. • Participate in on-site work as mutually agreed upon in writing by CEO.
Position Requirements • Requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Bilingual ability (English & Spanish) is beneficial. • Guest service experience. • Work independently, under pressure and with minimal supervision. • Self-motivated and self-starter. • Effectively and tactfully handle client comments. • Responsible and trustworthy. • Knowledge of food and alcoholic beverage fundamentals.
